A university beginner wrestling champion and Canadian Football League football player he appeared as a wrestler in 1951. Lindsay was a dark wrestler in a period of racial isolation in the United States. As of now, he was just permitted to wrestle other dark wrestlers, as managed by state isolation laws. By 1953, he was charged as the U.S. Negro Heavyweight Champion.
