Last month, WWE announced the fall release of WWE 2K16, the latest installment in its annual parade of ultra-intricate, hyper-detailed video games. While last year’s 2K15 was touted as the pinnacle of wrestling games — boasting an NXT-to-the-main-roster career mode and recreations of well-regarded real-life storylines — this year’s offering already looks ready to eclipse it: with the announcement of the game came the revelation that the roster will boast 120 playable characters, up from 67 in 2K15.
