7. Managing Faarooq With His Ridiculous Outfit
When WWE signed former WCW Heavyweight Champion Ron Simmons they figured he needed a manager. Simmons wasn’t a great talker, so it sounded like a good idea. They also decided to change his name and call him “Faarooq Asad” at first with Sunny as his manager. A lot of WWE fans watched WCW, knew who Simmons was and they just felt like it was better to put this helmet on him.
