5 Yokozuna
A member of the prestigious Anoa’i family, Yokozuna was pushed as a big foreign monster during his run in the WWE. He had matches with almost all the legendary superstars back then and also won the WWE Championship on two occasions. His career, however, was derailed later due to his physical condition.
He was gaining weight in an uncontrolled manner and this kept him out of the WWE ring for quite some time. He worked hard and lost nearly 100 pounds but still could not clear the medical tests to compete. Since Yokozuna was not able to compete in such a condition, the WWE decided to release him. He had a brief stint in the independent circuit before passing away in 2000.
