The Undertaker also took it upon himself in 1998 to threaten WWF Champion Shawn Michaels with legitimate violence. Reports stated that he taped his fists and got in Shawn’s face prior to WrestleMania 14, instructing him to drop the title fairly to Stone Cold Steve Austin or face the consequences.
“Mark went to everybody and told them, ‘If this doesn’t go down the way it should, I’m going to have a big problem and Shawn is going to have a big problem.” Michaels told Sports Illustrated in February 2015.
