12 WWE Superstars Who Should Have Had John Cena’s Career
For a decade now, John Cena has been the face of the WWE (and, by extension, the entire wrestling world). Never the most gifted wrestler, he took his key attributes – look, size and charisma – and ran with them all the way to the top, improving greatly in the ring along the way.
It’s easy now to look back and see Cena’s rise as a foregone conclusion. His kid-friendly appeal, professionalism and tireless dedication elevated him beyond the competition to become the biggest superstar in the world, joining fellow era-defining names such as Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin in the process.
