When it comes to former superstars and their returns to WWE, fans are taught to never say never. After all, the company’s facilitated some of the most improbable second comings of prodigal sons and daughters that most analysts could imagine — from Bruno Sammartino, who badmouthed WWE’s product for years before accepting induction into the 2013 Hall of Fame class; to Sable, who angered her co-workers, sued the company, and came back to work an angle with Torrie Wilson; to Hulk Hogan, who joined WCW, made it the number one wrestling promotion in the world, returned to WWE, joined TNA, failed to work the same magic, and returned to WWE once again. The company and their superstars have made it perfectly clear that there are very few doors that are permanently shut.
