13 Triple H WWE Projects That Failed Miserably

4. Sin Cara

Triple H copped significant heat and embarrassment for this one. When he became the head of talent in 2011, his first major signing was Sin Cara. It looked like a home run, as Cara had a significant reputation as Mistico down in Mexico.
But it ended up a huge flop. WWE pushed his debut hard, even doing press conferences about the signing. But when he then debuted in WWE, he was like a fish out of water. He couldn’t adapt to the WWE style and would regularly botch moves. Even worse, within three months of his debut, he was suspended for a wellness policy violation. That was enough to condemn him for life and his career never really got back on track. He left WWE in 2014.
