Sometimes in pro wrestling a top guy has to be unafraid of being an idiot. Pro wrestling isn’t “olympic wrestling,” so there’s a need on occasion to add some pure (and oftentimes ridiculous) entertainment to your presentation. In Randy Orton now being able to embrace the BS like, say, JBL, he’s missed out on having an added dynamic to his persona.
